First Blog Link Up: Monday Made It

Linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It!

I wish I had something super cool, pinterest-y to show you, but instead of crafting, I've been sitting around my house...or the pool all summer long.

However, that will have to change coming up because I am hosting a baby shower less than a month from now for my oldest cousin. This is her first baby and I am SO super excited. She's in the film industry, so we decided to go with a cute "star is born" theme. I think one of my FAVORITE parts of party planning is making the invitations. Maybe if teaching falls through I can do that. Or my boyfriend says I can become a masseuse. I think he's just trying to butter me up, so that I'll rub his shoulders more ;)

Here's the invite:

It looks all funky in the middle because I removed the address (no random strangers showing up, haha) and last names. Wah. It looks weird. Isn't the baby adorable? I accidentally bought clip art that only had blonde hair...both parents have dark brown, so simple fix...put a crown on him, lol.

The anticipation.....

As summer comes to a close, the anticipation and excitement of student teaching gets more intense. Not knowing what school I'll be at or what grade I'll be teaching is KILLING me. I might literally die from a heart attack.

It makes it really hard to Pinterest my little heart out when I have no idea what subject or grade I'll be teaching. Or who my teacher is. Or what my classroom is going to look like. Or...AHHH!

August 13th can not come soon enough. The only thing I've been able to do is create cute binder covers and lesson planning sheets. Even though, I'll probably create better ones, once I actually know what I'm planning for.
Like this.

Or this.

Nothing fancy schmancy, but it keeps me Netflix-ing all day, every day. How can I possibly enjoy the rest of my last summer as a kid when I'm worrying about August 13th?
